Hi, When I right-click on an item in Simidude and select "Download Contents", I suppose it's working, because I cannot select it twice... but I don't have any visual cue nor don't know where the file is stored (MyDocuments, Desktop, Temp??). Anybody has any idea? What's the big difference between it and "Save As..." (except that we can choose where to save it)? Nelson |

Nelson, "Download Contents" does just download the file/directory from a connected client and stores it in a temp folder internally. You should see the download indicator in the status bar hovering back and forth- if the file is to small though it will be downloaded before the indicator has a chance to show up. After you downloaded the file you can drag and drop it to a destination on your computer. The difference between "Download Contents" and "Save As..." is: - "Save As..." is a menu entry I use when I do not want to use drag & drop - If you use drag & drop but the file is not yet stored locally you can only drag & drop the file's name but not its content. So if you want to drag and drop a remote file you first need to download it to the local machine and then drag it to its destination. Kind Regards, Torsten. |
